At LCI Language School Vancouver, we sometimes have a volunteer student. Our volunteer student helps us out but most importantly makes LAB students feel comfortable. Eun Mi has been our volunteer student since November.
“It feels rewarding to help LCI Language School students as a volunteer student. I have already been studying English at LCI Language School for nine months. Every time I meet new students, I can relate to them and talk to them not as a teacher or staff but as a LCI Language School student. I am happy to be able to share what I know about LCI Language School to make them feel relaxed and comfortable.
I also get a chance to communicate with teachers and staff. Teachers tend to speak slowly in the class but when I talk to teachers and staff outside of class, they speak faster than in the class. It's a good challenge for me. I feel I am improving my listening and speaking skills by volunteering at LCI Language School.”
If you are new students to LCI Language School, you will also meet our host students. Our host students will show you the campus, give you your personal mug for free coffee and tea and explain about Friday activities.
