Who is this for?

You plan to study at a college or university in North America and want to strengthen your academic English. This course helps you develop the reading, writing, and grammar skills you need to express ideas clearly, understand complex texts, and use academic language with confidence.

Approved/Non-approved Courses

This program is offered in both an approved and non-approved format.

Approved Programs (more than 6 months of more $4000 of tuition)

This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills.

Non-approved Programs (less than 6 months of less than $4000 tuition)

Students who enroll in a language program that is six months or less in duration or for which tuition is less than $4,000 may not make a claim against the Student Tuition Protection Fund, managed by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills.

 Non-approved language programs may not have been externally reviewed or approved.
